Materials used

External metal cladding

• The exterior of the dog house is made with painted, galvanized metal cladding and reinforced edges. Its surface is UV-protected and weather-resistant, ensuring long-lasting use.
• Warning! The external metal cladding may become very hot in direct sunlight!

Insulation material

• The enclosing structure of the dog house is made of XPS closed-cell thermal insulation, which has negligible water absorption, ensuring continuously reliable thermal insulation performance.
• The color of the insulation may differ from what is shown in the images on the website.

Internal metal cladding

• The interior cladding is made of Aluzinc-coated metal sheet, which is easy to clean; however, we recommend using a removable dog bed (not included) on the floor of the dog house, providing comfortable resting for the dog and allowing for easy cleaning.

Solar-powered system

• Summer cooling is provided by a solar-powered system consisting of 1 solar panel, 1 free-cooling fan, 1 ground heat exchanger fan, 3 batteries, and 1 control unit. The control electronics feature an optimal charge control function and the necessary safety protections (overcharge and deep-discharge protection).

The flap door

• Ensures smooth closing with the help of integrated magnetic strips.
• The flap door is made of transparent material.
• Contains no toxic substances.

Ground heat exchanger

• Flexible corrugated protective conduit made of yellow PVC-U material
• Flexible material, non-perforated
• Ribbed surface on both the exterior and interior

When designing the product, our goal was to create a dog house with unique features that is able to provide a comfortable space for dogs using only renewable geothermal energy, in a self-sustaining and fully autonomous way. During the design process, key considerations included sustainability, simplicity, and creating a durable, long-lasting construction.
